Lyrics by N. Carroll adapted from Psalm 46

Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord.  Let us shout aloud to the Rock of Salvation.

Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song.

Refrain: “Be still and know I’m God.” He says, “Be still and know I’m God.”

He breaks the bow and spear and turns our swords to plowshares.

I’ll keep singing for the Lord is my refuge and strength!

I’ll keep singing for my God is the Ligth and a mighty fortress.

We shall not fear though the earth may change, though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea.

Come and see what the Lord has done. “Be still and know I’m God.”

There’s a river and its streams make glad the Holy City, and our God, He dwells within it.

Lifts His voice at break of day! X2
