Many nations shall come and say: "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths." For out of Zion shall go forth instruction, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.  Micah 4:2

Sunday Mornings:
Our Education Hour begins at 8:45 and classes are offered for all ages, from Kindergarten through adult.

Children’s Sunday School begins with music and an opening in the Chapel before moving to classrooms.
Adult class members begin to gather at 8:45 for coffee and conversation and begin study at 9:00.

There are two regularly scheduled Adult Classes:
The Builder's Class is held in the social hall below the sanctuary and offers a Bible Study and conversation for students of all knowledge levels.
The Parlor Class meets in the parlor across from the Chapel in the Education Building.  The Parlor Class is a smaller gathering, for those who wish to dig deeper into Scripture and matters of faith.

Monday Morning Bible Study
Every Monday at 10:15 AM, this group meets for Bible study in the Adult III classroom (on the lower level of the Education building, across from the church office).  The gathering begins with sharing of prayer concerns.  The  Gospel reading appointed for the upcoming Sunday is normally the focus of this study.  Emphasis is on connecting the scripture passages with our real life experiences and growing in discipleship.

Marys and Marthas
This women's study group normally meets the first and third Wednesday evenings a month for study and fellowship.  The Bible studies are on monthly themes and use materials provided in the Women of the ELCA Gather magazine.  Meetings rotate between individual’s homes and the church.  Check the webpage or bulletin for the location of the upcoming meetings.

Unbinding the Soul
This 8-10 week adult study encourages development of a personal devotional and prayer life by introducing a variety of prayer styles.  Weekly conversations among participants develop deeper relationships through Bible study, faith sharing and connecting with others in the community.   This program encourages faith growth and is part of a program being used all over the country.

Lutheran Basics
The Pastor offers this class for those joining the life and ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church.  Depending upon the needs of the class members, 5-7 sessions cover the topics of Luther’s Small Catechism:  Baptism, Holy Communion, the 10 Commandments and The Creeds as well as Worship, Scripture and Congregational Life.   While discussing these topics, participants come to know one another and are introduced to the ministries of Trinity and the leadership of the congregation.   Congregational members are also invited to participate in this class as a “refresher” Catechism course; in this way, new members are integrated into the life and ministry of the congregation.  The next class will be provided during the Sunday School hour in Lent of 2012.
